Saucer Dish, bone china, c.1825

 

This basket weave saucer dish with enamelled flowers in plain panels, dates from c.1825.

The base is marked with a painter's tally mark in green.

A London shape teapot from this service is illustrated in Michael Berthoud's Directory of British Teapots (page 202, plate 1208). Although the maker is unknown, the piece has the pattern number 9.

Condition: Excellent - no chips, cracks or restoration.
