Myrna Schkolne is the authority on Staffordshire earthenware figures from the early part of the Nineteenth Century, and her website is full of interesting and entertaining information and images for collectors at all levels.

Founded in 1927, The English Ceramic Circle is the oldest society dedicated to the study of British ceramics. The ECC regularly arranges visits to important collections, and seminars are held throughout the year.

The Northern Ceramic Society was founded in 1972, principally to study the history and manufacture of mainly British ceramics. The society has an active programme of monthly meetings and produces an excellent quarterly Newsletter.
